Google not showing my backlinks

    I did some link exchanges October, and now I check in Google to see those links, and Google don't see the links.I use link:domain.Why ? The links exists on the websites I had a link exchange.

    Google only ever shows a subset of backlinks, and these are only updated periodically. Stick to MSN and Yahoo for this task.

    I agree @ Cryogenius.

    Google will hardly ever display all your backlinks.

    another reason could be that the Backlinks update was taken in the month of September... SO you probably wouldnt see the backlinks soon enough until the next update takes place.... Not sure though about this.

    If I put this in Google - @mywebsite , I see more results.What is the purpose of this @ ?

    Google updates links every 4 months .... so u will have to wait....always use MSN to check backlinks

    Use of Yahoo Site Explorer or Backlinkwatch if you are so curious about your backlinks :)
    Google is lazy and doesn't show it all.
