Why is it when google says there are say, like, 100,000 results for a search, it will only show 10 pages? Is there a way to get it to show all the results?
Yes you can go to the last page.. (page ten) and if the results are similar then the last result will say that show all similar results and repeat search. Click that and all the results will turn up.
i am having the same problem, after the research; I got this..... Google limits all the search results they'll show to the top 1000 only.
People dont go that far. And showing more then 10 pages (100 results per page), will put more load on google servers.
Remember, the amount of search results just means how many web pages "some how" "some way" have a colation to your search term. Doesn't mean they are actually relevant.
Google is known for showing less pages than some of the other search engines. I think google will only allow us to view the most relevant results.
This is pretty normal. We've noticed fluctuations of us much as 20% in the page count on any given day without ryhme or reason. Usually other sites in the same industry see fluctuations at around the same time. I think eventually they'll index all the pages as technology and other developments allow.
