Google not responding to email regarding credit card

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to close an old adWords account. I have paid the outstanding fees and now I want to delete the credit card on file and close the account but I can't get a response from Google to confirm they will do this for me. Has anyone had this happen before and if so how did you go about getting the account closed? Am I missing something?

 

Do you mean AdSense or Adwords? This shouldn't be the right section if you're talking about Adwords.
