Google Not Indexing "Tweets" from my blog

On my blog I have placed link to my Twitter profile but I don't see any of my tweets indexed on Google. I checked the same for other sites I follow and their tweets are appearing in Google.

First I thought it is because I am using rel="nofollow" with my Twitter link on my site and other sites are not using it, but one site I checked has rel="nofollow" with their Twitter link too and their tweets ARE appearing in Google.

What could be the reason why Google is not indexing my tweets?

Google indexing is not equal for everybody. Briefly, Google indexes best the things it regards as important or valuable. How does it decide that? It uses many signals, but the main of them is the PR (Google page rank) of your home page and in this case also the PR of the page on which your tweet feed appears. If your site has PR, experiment with putting a link from your home page or another important page if your site. Make sure the Tweets page is not orphaned (meaning that it has no links from anywhere on your site) because that could be the root of your problem.

Also, make sure your tweets are not indexed by Twitter independently. If your tweets are indexed directly on Twitter, that can prevent them from being indexed anywhere. To prevent them from being indexed on Twitter directly, you can select the "protect my tweets" setting there.

    I hope this helps!
