Hi put up a site last week "aquaspheregoogles dot com" . my home page is indexed on google, I had a small bit of bother submitting a sitemap but I got that submitted last night and off the 4 backlinks and 4 domain links I had on yahoo. this is now 8 backlinks and 8 domain links. I submitted some articles and got the links of that and some forum posts. but still nothing on google. anyone have any ideas, why they are not showing my links on articles posts etc?

They do not guarantee anything. Submitting your site has become somwhat dubious in value over the years. Get a link from a respectable social or article site. You should not have any problem with those. I would remove the formatting from your link on this page also. Make it something like "www aquaspheregoggles dot com", so it is not a link from an unrelated page ( this one ).

Try re-submitting through another website that submits for you already. Put your link in your signature with your keyword (when you get enough posts). Now, keep posting and hopefully you'll get your website indexed fast.

You have to be patient first. Google does always crawling on your website but a few times they would show the updated results in public, or even in Google Webmaster Tools. This case is also applied to what Google does with count back links toward your website either. You cannot expect to see a new added content page being indexed instantly, or the link you just acquired to being shown instantly. That is not a Google way but Yahoo. :)

It's like others have said. You have to be patient with the SERPS..Google, Yahoo, and especially Live/MSN. It can be a while before pages start showing up. Just keep building backlinks and you will notice a change. I already see page's indexed for your site from my end!

Maybe the hosting was a bit slow, but the site is working ok, I will keep building links, this is my first site I have made, so I think maybe google are cautious of me.
this is all new to me.

actually I thought my sitemap had been submitted yesterday, but I checked again and it does not seem to be submitted, I wonder if this is an issue with the links not showing as well

try to add unique content on the site because this happened with me before and i changed the content then google indexed it. if you added just articles from article directories, you must add more content on the page. also increase the backlinks and make the content fresh on the site.

I don't many newbies start panicking if their website don't get crawled. Listen Google has very complex algorithm and everything happens randomly. Even google bot behavior can vary. So cool down and relax you can't start working aggressively on your seo for google to notice you. Just wait and watch. Google is a Billionaire Bi*ch and the hot lady doesn't guarantee anything.

The ink has not even had time to dry of the page yet.
Give it time for google to do it's job and learn not to expect instant results.
It will get there when it can.

Google just hasn't crawled your website yet. Give it a couple more weeks and they should index your website in the Search Engine.

In my own experiences, prompt indexing for pages or backlinks would only happen on those sites with high PR (above 6). Of course, ping service and unique post contents would be helpful for indexing purpose, too.

    Thanks,
