Google not indexing my redirected URL

    Hi Friends, I do have a SEO question...i had a website on which i did 301 redirection to a new domain and it's been two months...now my concern is that after 2 months also my home page URL ( new one) is not getting index but rest of the inner pages are indexed...also when i do a site: search for new domain, i do get all the inner page URL's but not home page URL.....

    But if i perform the same site: thing with older root URL...i do get that URL in google index following by new URL's....

    I have tried sitemap.xml, google fetch and render, new URL submission to search engines , some sharing on social profiles as well...but nothing helping me out

    Google+ and Google webmaster tools will index your site.
    You can actually check how to index your site .
