Google not indexing my blog

    I checked my webmaster tools section and it says Googlebot last successfully accessed your home page on Nov 9, 2007.

    =\ why isn't google visiting my website more often? Its a WordPress Blog and I do have some backlinks...

    I'm going to assume your site is new, new sites don't get crawled as often. Make sure to keep an up to date XML sitemap and correctly formatted robots.txt file on your site. Update your sitemap with "every" new page or content you add. Then make sure to resubmit your sitemap to Google Webmasters Central. Doing this I've gotten my site recrawled almost daily and see updates every 2-3 days.

    Google crawls new sites slowly. Generally the crawl rate increases with:
    -More (quality) backlinks
    -Site activity
    -Submitting a sitemap

    maybe if your blog is from blogger, your blog might be crawled very often...

    in this case, just keep on promoting it and wait for positive results. eventually, it will get indexed. after all, your blog is new right?
