    Hello,

i have a blog from blogger, when ever i make a new post it appeared in the google search results within 20-30 mins(when i check using the keyword of my post)

since may 2009, after every new post, my site dosen't show up for my keyword or the exact title of my post..but i see google indexing the url (i came to know this by putting the new post url in google search) this is creating a panic..i don't know why this is happening..help me!!

I truely appreciate your suggestions and help regarding this.

    Thanks

So Google is still indexing your posts, your just not getting instant rankings in the search engine. Perhaps you are using competitive keywords in your post titles now.

Some of the things I have to ask:

Does your blog promote copyright material, such as linking to where pirated music, tv shows or movies can be downloaded?

Are you posting your own original content? Or, are you buying articles that have been posted hundreds of times on other sites?

Is your blog promoting spam related topics, such as viagra, cell phones, unlocked iphones,,,,,,

I agree with VS....Since your posts are already well indexed, it has to be that your title now carries very competitive keywords for you not to be able to rank well easily in the serps.

You will need to work hard for such keywords if you intend to have good serp results with them.

If Google is indexing your new posts, then whats the problem.
It takes long to get high rank and also requires some work on that part.

They probably just changed their algortihms. It really isn't that big of a deal to have your site indexed withing 45 minutes of posting...I don't even know if yahoo news gets that much immediate attention. If it takes less than 2 days, then consider yourself lucky; it takes some people weeks.

Well, I think you should look at a few things generally:

    1) Internal linking a little (not over the top) from in the content of your posts, back to your homepage where relevant.

    2) Build a few backlinks, ideally ethically...

    3) Submit the RSS feed of your blog to RSS directories... this can help you to get indexed pretty quickly sometimes. (if you have wordpress, its www.urls.com/feed/) -oh, you said blogger right? Not sure where the rss feeds of a blogger blog sit... anyone???

I would keep an eye on things, and keep some sort of record of how your performance improves over a set time period.

To avoid reacting too drastically, try benchmarking how things get indexed now, and your traffic levels per new post (obviously it may well vary, just take an average) and then set yourself a period of time...

For example, say you get xxx uniques per day at the moment, do the above strategies, but don't do too much at once, try to spend a little time each day for, lets say, 1 month.

Doing the above may help stop your instinct of wanting to do some form of 'knee jerk' reaction, as that can often lead to even more problems in the Google index.

Stay calm, concentrate on decent content, submit your feed to 10 RSS directories per day, add decent posts on a regular basis, check your stats package to see what post brings in the most traffic, look what keyterms the visitors used to find those most popular posts, and then write more on those subjects... keep it interesting, and keep people interested.

Where possible, have either a 'related posts' or 'recent posts' plugin, to help both increased page views per visit, and also to help the Googlebot find it's way around your website, and index things quicker ;-)

If it's possible with your niche, another thing you could consider is embeding some youtube videos in one or two posts... This part is purely conjecture, but some people think that as Google own YouTube, this can help the bot crawl your pages faster...

Just a few ideas off the top of my head, I hope they help!
