Hi all, I have been working on a health related site since 1 month. But I found that google is not crawling my inner page, however index page being index by google regulary. I just want to know your comments why google don't visit my inner page? Awating for your reply.........
Probably because it is only PR0. The higher the PR the deeper it crawls. I am not concrete about this. Anyone else? Col
probably because your site is new and doesn't rank well (if it even ranks)... give it some time and make sure you get some good related links from some good sites to your site. and it would help tremendously if you have an online sitemap that helps googlebot find your inner pages.
Just a thought. If it's a blog, for example, and the content in the inner pages is reflected on the main page, then I wouldn't expect them to be in the index until after they've fallen off all of the indexed pages. I don't know if this is always the case but it was a factor for me on an old site.
Yes, use google's site map and upload it on your site and put "SiteMap" link on your main page so next time when google crawl your site, It goes in sitemap link and it may be crawl your all pages ( I do not more exp. in SEO )
I got lot of this question for a year now. Why does people seems to be not patient enough about their backlinks and indexed pages. But my advice for you is try to get as many incoming links and you'll be fine. Try to gather higher PR backlinks so that it can crawl your website often. Also always check your pages if they are crawlable by bots by using text browser. Manually browse your site using the text browser like lynx. If you can browse each page of your site then your fine. Also sitemaps are one of the option you could add in your site because Google, Yahoo, and MSN have now merge for this sitemap campaigns. Last but not the least PATIENTS always helps
Generata google sitemap.xml and if possible try to get backlinks from any of your inner pages. this will help you to crawl your inner pages.
If urs is a fresh site then its normal.. google takes some time to analyze and put ur inner pages back in its index until then only ur homepage will be visible.. wait for some time.. Get some good backlinks, post articles..it wil help you a lot
Something like the old days of deepbots and freshbots. You need to give it sometime before your inner pages will appear. The ideas from others will help.
Sometimes there's just no explaining it. As a regular procedure, when I add a new inner page, I post a link to it right on my PR5 home page. That usually gets the new inner page crawled and indexed quickly. However, recently I had one such new page linked from my home page, but it didn't get indexed for six weeks! Strangely enough, other newer pages similarly linked from my home page were indexed rather quickly. So again, sometimes there's just no explaining the "why's" of Google.
I agree. * XML sitemaps * HTML sitemaps * Backlinks If you have multiple "hubs", you could consider getting incoming links to all these (instead of just front page). * Make sure you do not use Javascript etc. links * Have a good navigation structure
Links Links Links... Even if your site is a PR0 you can still get spiders daily by having lots of inbound links. XML sitemap would also be a great idea. But you still need a reason for the spiders to visit.
That true when trying to get the home page crawled and indexed. But his problem is getting his inner page(s) crawled. And it's much harder to get links to inner pages without buying them. That's why I always link to my new inner pages from my own home page. That usually gets the new pages indexed pretty quickly.
