    Hey guys,

    Has anyone on this forum set up a google news site and is using it to generate more traffic to their site?

    I would be interested in learning about this process and steps.

    Yes, I started a blog for my website which was later crawled by Google News. Traffic to my site has tripled since then. In order to get index first you need to read some requirements, follow the link - http://www.google.com/support/news_pub/bin/topic.py?hl=en&topic=11665

    Make sure you meet all the requirements and remember, new sites don't get indexed so keep posting articles for couple of months.
