Google launches a new thing to its algorithm called “Above the Foldâ€. This algorithmic change looks at the layout of a web page and the amount of content you see on the page once you click on a result... • This change will affect less than 1% of searches globally meaning in less than one in 100 searches, a typical user might notice a reordering of results on the search page. • If you decide to update your page layout, the page layout algorithm will automatically reflect the changes as we re-crawl and process enough pages from your site to assess the changes. • This algorithmic change will affects sites that go much further to load the top of the page with ads to an excessive degree or that make it hard to find the actual original content on the page.
Glad to hear that this is not any of those big changes. But it´s still something. Btw.. Is there coming some big changes in Google algorithms in the near future?

Seems like a fairly reasonable update. I've never understood overloading pages with ads. It's hard to make work unless you have enough content to spread the ads out.
