mm... i was thinking the same... I guess he was aiming at articles from article directories (they had dropped), but I assume that guest articles (and of consequently links) from related sites with unique content are perfectly fine... Any thoughts?
I am feeling some difference from few days but most of the webmaster providing negative res negative response they are feeling no difference.
Google made a change to its search algorithm last week that it said was designed to help users find more "high-quality sites."
They did definitely do a good job in slapping lots of the major low quality sites. I mean sites like ezinearticles where they had lots and lots of front page rankings. At the same time, some good quality sites were hit, some stayed the same and some really improved. It's still not clear exactly what the change was though, so a whole lot of people are just confused right now. Even some dupe content / scraper sites are doing well now as long as they're not in competitive niches.
This is a good thing. Nothing is worse than searching for something and having something unrelated or low quality pop up.
Change is mostly related to content. The website with original and interesting content will gain a lot while copy of content will loose a lot. You can refer this. The official word from Google http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2011/02/finding-more-high-quality-sites-in.html
