I'm not a huge fan of the changes either. If they're going to make changes they should make them BIG.

    These are just too small.

It's not really a big change, but it's handy to get to Google's features. Maybe they are trying to make it more "personal".

They have actually announced the new Google Universal Search Platform and many of other features. Everything is going to change.

Oh my! Well, this will probably be a dread for all of us who are veteran Google users. Maybe this change will be good?

Yup, those are the rumors. Yesterday i saw another interesting thing, if you search for keywords "search engine" you will notice Google as 5th result, there i saw this button: Stock quote for GOOG (don't know if thats been for every, but thats how my research started regarding the Google Universal Search Platform)

I wish they kept the top menu where it was, right above the search box. It was so much more practical like that, to mea at least. Now I have to spend time running the mouse pointer from one end of the screen tothe other to navigate on google. Not too impressed about it.

Google.com gets more and more cluttered with every change. A large part of their success can attributed to the simplicity and pureness of the original designs, and I think they would do well to remember that.

Everything seemed so much more simple with the original logo and it was just a website, not a company. It was a simple search engine, which is why everyone loved it. Now it is starting slowly to look like the other search engines.
