I had started an ambitious website, developed and promoted it heavily. Majority of traffic came from Google search. Down the line I realized that considering the effort and time invested, my returns from this site was not worth continuing development. I was earning much more from other projects. Site is around 1.5 years old, I had abandoned the site around 5 or 6 months back. Today I was analyzing traffic and adsense earning from this site and found that traffic has fallen nearly 75% compared to the traffic during active promotion. Now the site is receiving a minimum traffic but the adsense earnings and eCPM have increased nearly 150% for this site.
Well, for me natural traffic is always with so many surprisingly new things. Like getting good profit in adsense
After you stop those promotion, most of the traffic shall come from search engine or saying natural traffic. And the natural traffic always bring higher CTR compare to those traffic from social media
That's amazing bro. it means that most of your traffic is now natural - IE coming from search engines and type-ins / bookmarks.
