I think you should target Google as it brings the highest volume of traffic. Google is also hardest to rank in as its ranking algorithm is the most advanced (complexity is far greater than that of MSN's and Yahoo's algo). But the effort is worth it. There are number of factors that influence ranking of page in Google SERPs but acknowledging these factors should bring success to your SEO campaigning.

To sum up: try to rank best in Google, even if it's not as easy to rank high in as MSN and Yahoo!, as it will bring you best results.

For me, Yahoo is the easiest to rank well in but Google gives me all my traffic.

There are certain search terms I rank well for in google and yahoo
but I do not rank as well in msn and vice versa. I cannot say it's
easier for me to rank well in any particular search engine.

    Hi,
My target is Google and i think if you ranked well in Google then your site also ranked in yahoo and MSN except some site. some site not ranked then change some algo for yahoo and MSN.

I don't know... when I rank high in Google, my site ranks pretty well in Yahoo as well.
MSN is acting strange sometimes and it's too slow on updating the positions.

google does have the largest market share, but because of that there is much more competition for their results. by aiming a little lower with msn or yahoo you'll have an easier time getting better placement.
