Google Monitor

I use Google Monitor software to check my websites' rankings everyday. However, today in the morning, my the Google Monitor refuses to work and returns that my website doesn't exist. Apparently this is not true. Therefore, I would like to know what happened to Google and whether anybody else experienced such problem.

 

What Google monitor software? Does it use screen scraping? If so, maybe Google made some changes to their pages that breaks it.

 

I use Free Monitor for Google v.1.2 and it doesn't work today!

 

Does it use the Google API?

 

Nope, I didn't put any API there to support. In my experience, programs that use this API key are 10 to 15 times slower than programs without it.

 

Ok, so like I mentioned in post #2, Google must have made some changes to their pages that break the screen scraper. Or alternatively, Google banned you IP for not abiding by their ToS.
