Google missing alt tag on home page

    LOL, this is to funny to pass up. Is it just me or is Google missing the "alt" tag of the memorial ribbon they have listed on their home page :eek:

    I apparently don't find it as amusing as you, but yes they did seem to forgot to use alt text on that graphic. They do always make a point of using alt text for any themed logos.

    He he. Some time ago, Google was missing </html> on their page. At least for the day i was trying to do some data mining on Google :)

    they dont need it actually...coz their site loads properly on any server in any browser so no question of any body wanting to see its 'alt' to knw what it was wen it dsnt load!

    For optimization purpose, why somebody wld want to find Google through Google as a result of any darn query!...nd no question of optimizing for other engines for obvious reason:D
