google maps software

    i have heard someone mention some software that allows you to appear on top of local business maps on google for keywords.

    Can anybody shed any light on the subject???

    There is no "software" to do this, you just need to make sure your listing is relevant up to date, and contains all the neccesary information. There are SEO techniques for Google Local too.
