I have a header, at the top of the page, the rest , is al filled with a google map. My question is how can I check how much to zoom so a particular country would be fully visible( in the center of the page ). Thank you.
On my classifieds I keep the zoom at 16 and this is what it show (when it comes to showing a city/area): http://qwikad.com/0/posts/2-Social-Media/311-Twitter/160505-offer-shop.html Try z=16& Of course you can try to change it to 15 or 17. PS by the way, it's just a random ad that I chose, it has nothing to do with anything.
I was thinking that when the user changes his smartphone's orientation( for example ), the map has to change his zoom so that the country will be centered as well. Let's say that the map has 100x200 then it changes to 300x100( it's just an example ). When the change occurs, the left and right "parts" of the map won't be visible so I should zoom it out but I don't know how much... Maybe there's an easier way for doing that.
It's a fluid design, so if you shrink the page and then reload it the map will be centered. It will be centered on both cell phones and regular browsers.
