    I believe that now and in future Google Maps Optimization had a role. Lot of product selling companies now want to optimize their site, product center through Google mapping. Some days ago Google rolled out a feature Google+ local optimization, a way to find their right place for a product, services.

    Here is an example that if you search for "indian restaurants near new york", in Google it shows you like this with the map.

    It is going to play a vital role in online business in the future. Not even through PC, but Google Maps is important for your smart phones also and you use it on regular basis.

    I guess the word "optimization" in your question has me curious. So you list your business, you give the opening hours, link to the website, a description.

    Where does the optimization come in?
