google maps move icon from one point to another

Hi guys,

I have the following question.

I use google maps api V3. Got a map and display an icon at a certain latitude/longitude. Now I query the db via a jquery script and what I want to do is if the coords have changed to move the icon to the new location. But I want to do it in an animated way. So I don't want the icon to just appear at the new coords I want it to move along the screen.

How can I do this??
