Google Maps Displaying favicons?

I just noticed this, but take a look at this:

For some State Farm agents they have the SF favicon showing up, does anyone have any insight on this? Is this something that Google picks up by itself or something the Google Maps listing owner does?

Right, that's where the confusion is. A favicon appears in your browser tab, and in your bookmarks.

Regular map markers, is all i see..

yeah but can you determine your own map marker is what I guess I'm getting at?
