Recently someone leaked google's manual reviewer quality guidelines. It is a 125 page pdf that basically teaches manual reviewers what to watch out for. Google quickly got this document removed from some webpages with threats of legal action. Everyone who downloaded it must have it in their cache still. So I am hoping someone can help me out and send this document to me. Thanks.
Nevermind, found it. I just wonder if this was a legitimate leak or if it was a leak planned by Google to combat all of the penalized webmasters who are bashing their lack of transparency. It seems that people and companies do fake leaks all the time, such as with celeb sex tapes or iphones.
I would imagine it was fake. I think that mostly because why would they really have a Guidelines PDF just floating around anyway...?
but i don't think it was a fake because if it was fake then Google would never remove those pages i think we should find this document. if anyone have it please share. i am willing to buy it. thanks
Does anyone have a copy of this I could get. I've been looking for it and Google are being very aggressive in taking all the links down. Thanks
It looks legit to me, but unfortunately it seems like only part of the review process. I suspect they purposely leaked this online to quiet all the webmasters who were furious over getting penalized with no explanation why. They knew that even though they got it removed, it would still spread anyway.
Many sites removed the document. Had trouble finding a pdf copy. Got mine after dozens of searches at j.gs/NbC Guess google wants it out of sight. Good info
