Google Malware warning question

I've sent an appeal to google webmaster tools about the malware warning that has appeared on the site. The malware first happened when a 3rd party was able to get in and start adding malicious code to certain pages on the website.

Now I've already fixed all the pages that listed that malware was present, however, Google still hasn't removed the malware warning.

Looking at webmaster tools, they also don't list anymore pages that have malware, however, the old pages that DID have malware still show the warning even though they've been cleaned up.

What is there to be done about this? Has anyone experienced this before?

It takes Google 90 days after the removal of malware to remove the site from blacklist.

Oh really? That's a crazy long time.

But the warning still says that there IS malware on the site. Is that something I should be concerned about?

Are you sure that you removed all the malicious code and are you sure that the hacker has not restore it? And how did the breach of security happen? Has that security hole been fixed? If you do not fix the hole, the code could be restored.

There is more to it then just removing the code. You need to find out how the breach happened and fix the real problem, which is either insecure software, or an insecure server.

    Not even close.

Those warnings comes from stopbadware.org. If you submit a request, they aim for 24 hour turn around to request a rescan and a few days for it to be reviewed:

It doesn't take that long, just submit a request, and usually the warnings are gone if your site is clean and malicious code is removed.

The problem is that I've checked the site over and over, many times. There should no longer be any kind of badware.

Also Google had originally listed a few pages on the site that had the badware. Now those pages are gone after I removed all the badware. So I'm suspecting that there is no more badware but Google is just f*cking with me? Anyone had this happen?

From my experience, next time Google spider your site, if the malware is not present - it will be removed.

Within a day of me removing malicous code from from my site, the warning was gone.

Whoever said it takes 90 days, should be gagged, and shot.

I had this problem about 1 month ago because of the martuz.cn. I have removed the malware the same day and submitted a reconsideration request in Google webmaster center. The warning form has been removed from the main page and from most of the pages in less then 24h, but there for some of the page it tool almost 30 days for the warning to be removed, even if the warning said that a malware was last time found on that page about 30 days before.

it is an included text in the end of files
    delete the bad code
or ask someone to do it for you in heiring forum here or in elancer etc..

get an account with Google Webmaster Tool and ask to reverify
if your website is clean it will get back after 24 hours!

if it takes more time it can be that the malware is still there. because usualy the virus source website get shut down after some time by some consumer law organizations.

a typical reply from stop-badware group, (their forum is at
badwarebusters.org), you can go there to ask help.

First of all, you need to remove any and all badware from the site.

Then create an account with Google Webmaster Tool and verify your ownership of the site.

You may want to create a reference for both h**p://www.xxx.com as well as just h**p://xxx.com.

Then request a review of the site through the Webmaster tools and the site will then be rescanned by Google.

This usually takes a few hours, but if the site is found clean it will be back in the index without the blocking.

If by any chance there is something found during the scan, then you will be able to see what page it’s found on using the Webmaster Tool and hence know where to look for further contamination of your site.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask away.

you may ask for help in badwarebusters.org forum.
