A while back, i heard that microsoft made $2500/second. This is low earnings for a big company if you are do a compare. Rob
I agree that when YPN and MSN ContentAds become international, there will be a battle for the publishers. However, I don't agree with the bolded part. As a publisher, I don't consider myself a customer. Frankly, we're employees of Google. They give us a commission from what they get. If you sold a table in a store and got a commission, the store would get the most of the profit and you'd get a small bit. That's just the way business works.
Google pay out are getting dropping due to advertisers moving their compaign to show in search results only(it's just may be, and my guess)
that a good increase..Hope google will give us bonus one time? who know? hehehe... this is the world of business...
I think earnings will drop even further because many big advertisers are choosing to use other services that are cheaper and provide better results.
In a nutshell what this means is get as many site as possible involved in advertising ... bait and switch. I would be nice if they disclosed thier percentages of the take.
I understand what you mean! ...But as soon as i read it i just thought - Hold on a minute - $133.75 per second - that aint bad! LOL
when more competitors show up to take a piece of the pie, the more the websites will make and adsense will get smaller and smaller cuts. come on Viacomsense!!!
I'm waiting for YPN to go international. Way too disappointed with my adnsense venture last time when Google banned my account for some rediculous reason.
Adsense has done nothing but great things for a few sites in my network. Granted, it's all about the traffic and type of site (to me at least)... but i've seen very good returns on the relationship of adsense and adwords. I've run adbrite, ypn (still current on a few other sites of mine), as well as some others... adsense is paying the highest so far for me.
YPN was good in the BEGINNING. Since then it has sucked for me. Perhaps why their profits took a dive. Most folks I know bailed on them and went back to Adsense... I don't know about everyone else, but they have never show ANY improvement to their targeting. It is like they have completely ignored that part of the program (the most important part in my opinion). I would have thought for sure by now they'd have it working at least close to as well as Adsense.
just hope Adsense will make me a 1 million dollars richer in the future... wonder how many pages should i design? by end of next year, should quit my day job... will be good if YPN and MSN ads go global... more competition.. right now the BIG G is the only lone superpower in this ad publishing business for all of us outside US.. Nevertheless, I have to thank the Adsense team for making our lives more profitable and useful with this program...Without it, we won't have any dreams of making big through passive income..
For the most part, Google is a one trick pony. All of their revenue is generated either by selling ads or having their ads clicked. Everytime I see their profits increasing, I know that my fellow DP members are making less.
