Google loves spammy autogenerated page websites!

When you thought they would have put a stop to this, a newer competitor just keeps staying at the top of searches and Google loves them.

Auto generated pages (spam) are counted by the G and today G shows 89,000 pages for this site and Yahoo only (and I say only sarcastically) shows 6,870 pages in the site.

They also shows 7,000 backlinks on Yahoo which are mostly spammy, so I am assuming they have paid a blackhat for this work.

Will the spammers ever get banned or should we all jump on the spammer bandwagon? This company has been doing this for about a year but it has worked well for them.

Yes, its tough for Google to weed out the spammers, unfortunately it hurts us who play by the rules - but such is the SEO game...

Spam producers are improving their pages.
Anyway, google is robots and not as smart as we imagine .
But I don't think the spam site will rank high for a long time .
Those sites with useful content focusing on topics will beat it .

So why are you giving them another link from the body of your post?

There is nothing you can do. You have been around long enough to know that. Eventually, if they don't change, they will loose their prime position. Until then, do what you have to do to improve your site and don't let it get to you. We all understand your frustration. We all have similar experiences.

For now, let his spammy site be your motivation to build a bigger, better, clean, honest site. One day, you will be rewarded.

    And remember: illegitimi non carborundum

Right, I saw spamming sites rank well even above the official site, which is very strange, I have been watching this site for nearly 4 months and let us see what will happen afterwards.

    Cheers.

Ugh, I hate those autogenerated sites. I've come upon one who copied the content of one of my blogs and doesn't even have the nerve to link back. We were both ranking in the first pages of Google for a certain keyword. It's a good thing that the site is no longer indexed by google. I think it would take quite a while before google manages to shut down all of these autogenerated sites.

    Hi,

Where on yahoo did you see 7000 backlinks? Cause I only see 1358 backlinks.

When you check on yahoo site explore, do you click on the drop down box where it says (Except from this domain)? This way it subtracts the indexed pages from the backlink count.

    Look here https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/search?p=www.evrmemories.com/&bwm=i&bwmo=d&bwmf=u

I have a few autoblogs and most main pages are banned on google, however the inner pages are on the first page, and on bing & yahoo they are all at #1 for the keyword, so it is worth having them :)

They have a number of related keywords which they are within the top3 - They are a legit site, but somehow they feed the SE's many more pages than they actually have on the site. I am assuming they are using a cloaking method.

You have been watching the same site?

I am using the digitalpoint keyword tracker and that is what gives the results. I don't care about the number, but why G and Yahoo give them credit. They have a PR4 for what? Pages where? It stinks to watch someone win when they cheat and everyone knows it.
