I agree that it is not really spam but it seems like Google still are having problems with spammy sites and I have reported 10+ today since I find it rediculous to see page after page with crap and no content, nothing that has to do with what people have been searching for. Found this highly rated page in Google: son teen 22 caliber 45 caliber 0.15 0.3... silky silky-coated silky-foliaged silky-gray silky-haired silky-hairy ... terrible terribly terrier terriers terrifying territorial territoriality ... www.lans.ece.utexas.edu/~guest/project/perl/sessions/wnet - 376k - Cached - Similar pages
oooohhhh my dear friend... THAT is certainly NOT Black Hat.... at least not in my book... Like I said (on the other board)... you could certainly rank well for that term. It's not at all stiff in the competition area... that's what you should worry about You could report them, but it would likely do squat.... they are not breaking any rules really...
Ok Gray Hat Michael_Goldman Thats a good one 11 instamces to the eye for Viagra 66 in the source a little gray hat going on their too
Folks they have the ranking right now but these are the types of sites who go bye bye after an update. Perhaps it is even a google test site so google plans to dump it as soon as they are threw using it. I didn't notice their links page till now and don't like that.
Thanks Viso yea the one at gangstyle.com/sportsapparel/jsaindex.php I'm glad I did not have to code that page
I agree that that should not be used. I never use any method that if seen by visitors would look out of place or spammy. I have been successful using that method....
hay google never loves spam but google hates spam. But sometimes google takes more time in catching spammer sites.
I can't speak on what you see in his source code, everyone codes different and I'm not familiar with his sites functionality, etc. (why he has that hidden style) But the times "Orange Bowl Merchandise" come up in a spiders eyes are about normal: And you don't need incoming links from other domains to get a page ranked. AGE + Trust > # of ICBL any day. If Apple.com created a page with a single anchor text linked "MILLION DOLLAR LINK EXPERIMENT" they would have that page rank #1 for that term, on the simple fact they have greater trust and age then your domain.
This isn't 1998, stuffing has not worked for a long time. Domain age and trust rule all over content. Content is important, but that domain has some major juice. I think I'ma ask them to link to my sites
yeah, that term "orange bowl merchandise" or whatever, isn't very competitive. I bet I could rank top 5 for that term easy and make some extra cash along the way.
