Google logo oddity

Try this, do a Google search, when on the results page, right click on the Google logo and select "View Image"....do you get the Google logo or is it like the image I see (below)? Weird! Is this some sort of image protection?

 

Google use it to speed up there websites and minimize the requests to there server.

Wow, you're right, ive never came across something like this.

 

this doesn't happen on my computer... weird..

 

You can use CSS you simply input the x and y positions of the image you want to extract from the main image.
