Hi Guys, I've noticed this a few months back and was just hoping my page will go back up in the ranks but it hasn't so it's got me a little worried, For 1 or 2 years my page would rank on the first page if you search "The web" and similar results if you search "within Australia" using my disired keywords. Now, my page will only show on the first page under the countries listing. I am pages behind under the "web listings" What's happened and what can I do to help assist move my page up the ranks?
It is completely because of competition, your competitor sites are getting more rank than your site for that particular keyword. It depends on the back links growth, placement of keywords in meta tags. So, try to build back links continuously by submitting your directories, social bookmarking, blog commenting etc.,
have you updated the page?I think you need to re-optimize on that page and build quality links pointing to it.
