Goolge Local is no longer Beta! What does this mean? Hell if I know, just thought you'd like to know .... Actually, for those who didn't sit on their hands and got listed in Google Local, the benefits should begin to pay off. To that, I mean that results here did not seem to carry any weight for link relevance, but hopefully will now. Also, if you were smart enough and lucky enough to get listed prior to now, no doubt you'll be glad you did. Being out of "beta" will likely mean more people will become aware of it and the flood gates will open for people trying to get listed equating to a longer wait. Getting listed in local results can be a huge boost in my opinion, even if you're market is the entire world wide web. Geographical marketing and targeting of website traffic should not be underestimated. Learn more at Google Local
*sniff* Why can't they just leave things alone? I'm kinda used to everything Google being beta... it's usually a lot beta than anything else on the market
I've gotten some good hits from it, not a lot but I'm seeing it tick up a little more each month. The algorithm for local is pretty cool. It picked some references that were not active hyperlinks.
Have not seen anything from it... I just got results from Kansas and Oklahoma when I looked for things outside the city... Excellent...
No...I was sort of hoping for New York City, Northern New Jersey... they got the country part right...
