    Yes few days ago all Google services were slow. AdSense being the slowest but since yesterday everything is back to normal.

    I do have a partial solution but since this is my first post (I Googled this subject), I hope it is not misinterpreted as spam.

    I am working on an unfinished site that includes Google and many other searches. For a f-a-s-t-e-r results response, I can easily choose a non-American Google site when the American Google site is acting s-l-o-w.

    One of the site features is easy Google searching via Google's non-American sites by simply clicking the appropriate flag (16 of them.)

    Since I use my own site regularly, when my Google searches in the USA seem to be slow for some reason, I simply click on a non-American flag which gives me essentially the same search results with just different headings and such.

    I read a bit of German, so I usually choose that version. Since most internet users (other than Americans) are bilingual in some other language, just enter your search phrase and then click on a flag for the language in which you are somewhat familiar.
