Google Links

    How come when I check my backlinks using google, I only have one page worth probably about 8 links, but I have hundreds of links to directories and sites...why doesn't google show them all????

    Check your backlinks in Yahoo. What Google provides using it's link command is worthless.

    In yahoo,

    link:yoururlhere - will show number of links to that page
    linkdomain:yoururlhere - will show number of links to that domain

    Also,
    linkdomain:yoursite.com -site:yoursite.com
    lets you view all incoming links to your site excluding links from your own domain.
