Google Link Popularity

    Hi Guys,

    i run quite a popular Joomla resource site. How can I increate the Link popularity of the site, although its a PR7 site, i still only have 399 links pointing to the site, when Yahoo MSN and others have a couple of thousand

    And i missing something?

    If this has been asked before then I do appologise in advanced

    I believe the standard formular states writing articles (with a link to your site) and submitting to directories as the primary ways of building inbound links.

    I'm not sure I understand your question, but if you are asking about why google show fewer links than yahoo or msn, it is because google only shows a portion of the links that it knows about. The links that it is not showing are still working for you.

    Google doesn't show complete numbers. Thus it's impossible to compare with other engines the same way.

    Just continue link building by submitting to directories and create some articles :)
