What do you call this Google search: link:http://example.com/ ? I have an icon in Firefox that just calls them 'Backward Links'.

You use your website (obviously), and you see the backlinks that Google thinks are important. I have bought my share of links in the past, and they seldom wind up in this search.

    Here's my questions:
    • How long would it take for a descent link to show up there in my site's backlinks?
    • What would be a fair price to pay for *any* link that shows up in this search? And, how would such a deal be structured; I mean, the link won't show up right-a-way, but the value of the link is dependent on *if* it show up there (in my judgment).
    • What if I posted a WTB ad that offered $10 only if the link shows up there, and zip/nada/$0.00 if it does not, would I have any takers?

How do you confirm that the link in the google results was placed by the link builder?

Hi tuneaid, thats a good question. I actually went ahead and am trying it in a 'link sales' thread here at DP. What I said is, "After placing my link, you then need to PM me immediately and let me know the exact URL of my link. You need to do this before it shows up in Google. (I don’t want a scammer to try to take credit for your link.)".

$100 for 1000 back links with at least 30 on pr3 sites and 6 on pr 5 sites. It seems like a lot but remember most people use generators. Ask for a copy of all back links. It will cost you more to have all the pages submitted to search engines but this will allow you to see the back links right away in a standard google search. If you pm me and I will send you a good auction site to have this done. Oh yah make sure they have a script generator so that search engines don't take the pages as duplicates.
