Google likes stories about themselves

I've been trying to get my site listed in Google news for a few weeks now and every time I got an auto-response that said "no thanks". Well yesterday I did a couple of stories about Google's new Chrome browser and yesterday afternoon received a hand-written email that said I'm in. Coincidence? maybe but maybe google just likes sites that talk about them.

It would make a lot of sense wouldn't it.

You must have whispered the right words in their ear. :)

It is not necessary to write about Google to be included, all you need is really good news.

It's probably a coincidence...interesting though. Maybe I'll try this and see what happens myself.
