So I just started up my website on February 12th. I had purchased the domain name and all that about a month beforehand. It has now been one month and I think Google likes my site..a lot. With lots of promotion, I have managed to get Google to crawl AND index my blog posts very quickly. In fact, the last 4 posts have all been crawled and indexed in under 2 hours - I'm pumped. What bugs me is the rest of my site is fairly slow to get indexed and picked up. I've set up my home page with links to all the main pages of my site and other key articles and posts, but it seems like Google just doesn't like the rest of my site as much. It would be nice to start getting Google to crawl and index the rest of my site just as frequently. Any tips to help get the rest of my site crawled and indexed more quickly? I can't do live links yet, but if you would like to look, type in Forever Singing in Google..it's the first or second option...with "Let's Learn How To Sing Better Now!" as the motto. Thomas
Try to submit your articles to social bookmarking sites and buildup sitemap .. and get as many as links to you blog or articles.
If you create a website with many pages it will take google and other search engines some time to index them all. But when you add new pages (on wordpress they get automatically pinged) will be indexed fast, just give it a few weeks and google will index most of your pages (I assume you don't have thousands of them). When it comes to indexing and evaluation you have to be patient. Search engines will not give you number 1 spot right away but will make sure you're consistent.
