The initial Panda update hit me hard, traffic-wise. But instead of griping about it and blaming Google, I set out to see what part or parts of my website might be in conflict with Google's guidelines. After much study, I determined that I had some footer spam on each page. It was not intentional, and my motives were certainly not black-hat. But I realized that it was not in line with Google's guidelines. So I removed the footer spam from each page, and in short order my Google traffic was back. That's what I recommend to all of you. Don't waste your breath hollering at Google. Rather, take a look at what might be wrong on your website(s), and fix those things. Your traffic will come back.
Hi, you are right the big G has made some major updates to its algo I believe. As I could see and study it has been widely discussed that big G is targeting low quality links and de-indexing them. I have seen drop in ranking for some of my website while few others have gained ranking. I am not sure if this is just dance, I need to wait and watch how the things would progress.

LOL..great advice! Glad you didn't say add great content and build great links...very useful tips indeed..
I really hate the idea that every time Google makes an update it seems to me that the small business owners are the ones who suffer. It seems like Google is doing everything in their power to push the little guy out of the way and make room for the big dogs.

Yeah, I also have to face same problem. One of my site has got down. Hope that Google has solved that problems within a few days.
