Competition of Skype...Is there anyone Google will not take on? Myself I am waiting for McGoogle Burger...I am sure that is down the road at some point.
I wonder how well it works or what the quality is like. Something I might have to try sometime. I don't think I would use it too much though because I already use other extremely cheap means that allows me to use a real hand held phone. Even with decent download/upload speed I always had bad experience with the computer software methods. Something to keep in mind though.
They have released in US only soon it will world wide.... I don't think its competition for Skype... Because they already have this feature in GTalk now they just make it in Web platform anyway its nice feature..
You'll see the "Call" button in Google Talk just under your name and status bar. In some instances, clicking to activate Google Talk's VoIP service will prompt you to install the Google Talk voice and video plugin before you can begin dialing. It may go without saying, but it will say it anyway--you'll need to have a microphone handy, either in the computer itself, or in a headset, in order to hear your caller from your computer.
Google is the internet and they are creating healthy competition for us all! More competition means better and cheaper services it's one of the ket features of a capitalist economy. Kind regards, Glen
