Targeted? Stumble Upon loves my site, but the users it sends see 1.8 pages per visit on average, compared to 4.5 for all sources combined. For the webmaster, Stumble is random, not targeted.

Webmasters are obviously post-date blind, as well as banner blind.

Is it hot news? It's about a month old, yet this is the first I've heard of it here as well, on a forum that's, let's face it, full of Google junkies. So they obviously aren't pushing this very much, so far. It's one of those functions that we'll have to wait a while to see if it catches on.

StumbleUpon has a massive amount of data based on tags and popularity voting. It will take any competitor quite a while to catch up on that. Even so, SU doesn't really provide me with good quality traffic, it's more a case of people using it as though they are channel-surfing in search of light entertainment, rather than exploring one website in depth.

that's one of the issues I see...

some people do research (paid) for other people...websites, job, school...etc...that doesn't mean they want those types of searches included in this new system...

wonder how far back they'll look at the search history...
