Checkout your profile and fan page. What did you notice? Yes the cover photo of your profile and fan page was changed. The cover photos display dimension is set to this width: 2120px; height:1192 pixels at a 16:9 ratio when fully expanded. Oh by the way the profile photo was also change from square google+ change it to circle. So what can you say about this updates?
It's pretty cool...nothing special though. I have this for a few days. The only thing that bothered me is that I had to redesign my cover photo, as the first one was custom made for G+.
I keep pushing the "I'll do this later" button. To me, it's not that essential. The round photo though looks great. I am mostly talking about the cover. There was a whole discussion on G+ just recently about how some people are making advertising banners now out of their cover photos.
