Google Knol

    Google rolled out a new feature, a few months back, called Knol which is suopposed to refer to knowledge. However I don't hear much about it. I created a knol there but it does not seem as though much people know about it. Does anybody know about Google's Knol?

    Yeah i think they are trying to take on the might of wikipedia, by providing access to plenty of informational articles. Science / technology that sort of thing.

    I think it will struggle to out compete the original knowledge base.. You never know with google though! :)

    I dunno.. I have heard of Google Knol since months ago and last time I checked I didn't liked it.. probably because I got used to Wikipedia.

    I've never seen a Knol ranking anywhere in SERPs... honestly I don't think it's doing that well. Most people don't know of it...it doesn't seem to be getting any publicity at all. Also, I think it would be ridiculously hard to compete with Wikipedia & About.com. It's kind of like re-writing the dictionary...why bother?
