    Thanks for spreading the news.

What seems weird to me is that the page itself is all nofollow. So looks like its not implemented yet, or only partially.

I doubt knol passes pr juice, if it does, it wont be as much.

Wikipedia was good until it got hit with spam, same with Knol

Don't spam there ..... you'll risk losing the linked site pr and adsense account also!

I think Google will have do follow links for some time. And after they have lot of content in Knol, may be then they will put the no follow tag :)

I agree pure spam should be avoided! However links to your authoritative site should be OK. Take a look here for what Google says are good examples of Knols: http://knol.google.com/k/-/-/uPUoECxfx/sd8yvy#

Look in particular at Nick Marino's Knol as it has links to his site on several occasions. In fact quite of few of them have links to themselves or some friend of theirs.

I think it would be better to implement no follow in knol otherwise it would be flooded with spam...

and also most of sites which do n't have enough content may get PR!!

    Thanks for letting us know..
But, again, this may increase spamming over there.

Has anyone experienced with Google Knol? I wonder how much positive impact can it brings to website ranking or true web traffics. I bet it's nowhere close Squidoo and HubPages. Appreciate if the experience folks here can shed us some lights please? :)

    Crispycheesy,

Since Google is only giving some authors this benefit of do follow it would vary. I know my GWT shows them. I can only see benefit from it as long as you don't spam.;)

And what? Google said that it won't give you any juice out of a direct link!
