Recently I heard that news from Search Engine Land, Google has changed the way they show local results! Again! So, guess what? Google going to update Google + or would be closed local business? what you guys thinking?
I don't know if they are closing it or not, but they've most definitely hurt community pages with their new layout. I've noticed a significant drop in my community pages growth and post count. I wonder if G+ figured they were giving away way too much free traffic, so they are just trying to curtail what was happening. Just a wild guess.
Google+ is not as great as Facebook, but I like Google Community compared to Facebook Groups. If they continue updating Google+ then I think it is good. I mean it is just normal for a developing platform to update.
I am not sure where you heard this. At the most, I heard they are getting rid of "g-mail" but not canning g+ or e-mails entirely.
That's impossible, google plus of course will not play the role of "googe" but I believe its still a good product
Google Plus is one of my favorite because it sells your privacy, but they no longer in business soon. Sigh...
It seems to me that if you want your privacy sold, you should sell it YOURSELF instead of letting Google or anyone else have all of the money and fun.
I am really sad about this, too. I am one of the few that uses it and loves it. So much better than FB.
The consumer version of Google+ is shutting down in April 2019. Not only traffic ,it will effect google + engagement.
Now i use only instagram and google+. Its really sad. I will be Like a President of USA using 1 social
Does anyone know when Google+ will be completely shutdown? Has Google shared their timeline on any authoritative website?
Got an email about this and wasn't sure how I felt about it. On one hand I thought, "This social media platform has never really been well received and to some extent forced down our throats by Google" then I thought, "Crap, what about all the Wordpress sharing plugins and themes integrated with the G+ icon littered across the web"? Although, I could care less about the Google Plus pages and communities I will miss Big G rewarding my shared posts on the platform with higher priority in the search engine results. What you guys think?
