Its funny how easily yahoo! is beind pushed into an AOL party and how nicely yahoo! is helping to setup their own pwnage. I like Microsoft's exploit strategy and how easily yahoo! is falling for the friendage scheme.. or is yahoo! genius? Are they silently lurking.. or will they stay too long and sufficate themselves in the smoke?

Yahoo 's management staff is second rate at best. They are makining one mistake after another. These mistakes wil cause stocks to plummet. Yahoo is run like a bunch of drunk monkeys.

If they think they’re doing something successful that is or will appease the consumers (we don’t wait for corporatism, we want it now) then they’re way behind and I’m at the point to say Yahoo!’s dead. If this is the best they can do then there is no hope, sorry. I’m rooting for MSN, but they’re not “trying”.

How sure are you that MSN isn't "trying"? Maybe they're making all the best moves.. Considering Microsoft is $250 + Billion strong, maybe their best move would be to lay low while google befriends yahoo! and puts them in a false sense of power.. then... *SMACKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!! Where'd yahoo! go? Microsoft just bought them for $15 a share?! ahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!! Yet, maybe yahoo! is playing a game... giving google a little leverage and then going to eat everyone like Pac-Man!! yahoo!!!!!!!!!!! I know yahoo! seems to be falling apart but I'm still with them!!!!! A mass exodus might just mean a Microsoft merger deal already in the works... Cleaning the clutter and restructuring the loose ends..

Biggest deal of the century: Myspace Purchase
Worst mistake of the century: Yahoo not selling out to Microsoft

Those are my two awards I'm handing out

Note: I currently own no shares in yahoo! (yhoo) I'm a momentum trader on this sector so I can't offer much advice on long term appreciated marginability.. Yet, the momentum flowing around these corporations points toward a white-knight strategy by Microsoft. So I would say there's a positive for each corporation in this dance for short term monetary gain.. I have no long-term comments.. I really could care less what happens to yahoo! If they keep ruining their email client I'll eventually start looking for a better place to migrate to.

Some of my sites have 3 slots on page 1 of Yahoo and I get no visitors. Compared to Google Yahoo is a poorly used search engine.

I’m sorry but if Yahoo doesn’t wrap something up soon, Google will just steal the market completely. If they’re doing something, they better have it done soon. I only use Yahoo Answers also; I stopped using their search engine even though I think it’s more relevant, I just don’t like the company anymore. MSN has billions, but they sure aren’t using it. They could do a lot of things without buying out the competition; there are millions of untapped ideas, without YA! I would never visit Yahoo because they don’t have anything else to offer. There’s a lot they can do, they aren’t doing it, I just can’t see why they can’t copy the strategy of the leading company in the industry, which is diversity, and Google has many products and services which almost all allow activity from consumers. It’s really simple just give the consumers something that’s freaking valuable, or how about 10 of something valuable? I have a million ideas…..

it's sad. remember how big yahoo! used to be? a lot of us made their first sites using geocities. yahoo! email and messenger were a way better than hotmail. yahoo! search was big too. then yahoo movies, news etc etc.

it was such as amazing business. i have no idea how these management guys managed to screw it up in last 2 years. This is absolutely nonsense. Why doesn't yahoo! open up their adserving business for people outside the US. That would flow good cash towards them. There are so many obvious things they can do but they are not doing it. It's just sad.

Damn this is not good. We need more internet search giants. I don't like the way Google is increasing. This is totally unsafe for all of us.

There's nobody can touch Google at the mo in terms of valid serach results but I agree it's a bit scary when you put all your eggs into one basket.
