I do have a simple crawler that crawls the page you want to submit. And I do have databases Alot of them. Every keyword/phrase has a database. Vmgo.com is fast, simple and smart and learns from people without them doing anything extra.

Spiders waste your bandwidth. If you had a 10,000 page dynamic website and all the search engine crawlers out there suddenly began spidering your pages all at once, they could easily crash your server. It has happened to a couple of my websites.

I'll admit that submitting pages manually sucks but it does slow down the spam a lot. Plus it allows you to target the keywords your pages should be ranking for instead of hoping google figures it out. Plus your pages are indexed immediately the moment you submit it. No Sandbox, no -9 or -50 or -199 penaltys. No waiting for months on end to get your pages ranking decent. No link trading! No PR. No more banning entire sites because of a few bad links to "bad neighborhoods".

I can't believe webmasters are putting up with the other engines stupid rules they made us all live by when we could promote a webmaster friendly engine like vmgo.com?

I am a webmaster myself so when I built vmgo.com I kept webmasters in mind while building it. I also kept the users in mind also. Making it fast and simple to navigate. I made it so simple that a 3rd grader could understand it. Yet I get no support from the webmaster community at all. There are a few that have jumped on board but not many.

The site is slowly growing day by day so it is catching on and I think in a couple years it will become a player. Maybe not a big player but....

It just takes branding and trust from people because there have been alot of spam search engines out there. I think the count was 500,000 search engines on the internet? and probably 495,000+ of those are probably cloans of other engines and spam engines. It's rediculous!

So building trust is my main goal with people. That is why people like google. They trust google. They are honest hard working people at google and they are good at what they do but someone has to say enough is enough. Webmasters like google because they get their paycheck from google. You have to focus on google because that is where the money is right now but you won't lose money if you inadvertantly placed a link to vmgo.com on your website somewhere?

    Where's the Love? HAHAHA!

Everything takes time and hard work. I am not affraid to work hard.

Sheer word of mouth. Their search engine used to be excellent back in the days of Altavista, etc... it beat the crap out of them. People loved it and that's how it got so popular.

Now they are not-so-stellar engine anymore... but that's another story. They made a brilliant move launching adwords and are now probably set for life.

I beleive that if baidu were to extend its self to the western market that, he could indeed rival google.

But it still would be a long shoot.

Become a tybit registrar.I think they might be able to compete since they use the strength of more then one search engine to get you results.People also buy keywords so there is no "mysterious" figures for advertiser or publishers.I have used it to market my bosslessmoney site and made a squidoo lense dedicated to it check out tybit.com
