Google kicked .CO.CC domains out from search results

Google's ahead of you on that one; if you think your site isn't spammy (which if it's on .co.cc is unlikely...) you can request a review to be re-indexed.

 

As co.cc is free , many people do not use in a proper way , feeling bad for that , but gogole does not have any other options other than to remove it , because people spam with it , they dont use it for good purpose.

 

Agree with you mutasim ! I never see a legitimate company using it. But almost every beginner or a noob use co.cc for his/her first website (self hosted or to map other service provider sites/blog URLs, like blogspot or free web-host based sites) .

I was interested in co.cc when I first entered years ago , but never used them because of one reason that people might consider my website's content as 'Cheap' source . So I dare to spend any price on domains for my favorite extensions

I didn't mean to be offensive. It was a presumption from my experiences but I didn't have a source when I posted. Indeed, I was incorrect though not far off the mark! The top 10 nations using .co.cc are:

1. Indonesia
2. Georgia
3. Nigeria
4. Bangladesh
5. Thailand
6. Malaysia
7. Vietnam
8. India
9. Philippines
10. Peru

If you have a search around the web for corruption studies and notorious scam/spam lists, you will see these countries being mentioned the most apart from Thailand which I haven't seen mentioned in such lists. One thing I noticed was that slavic countries are noticably lower on the .co.cc usage list than they are on corruption/scam/spam lists.

I think you need to improve your IQ and general knowledge on what you said. I can say a lot about other regions. But that might divert the topic and want to end my discussion

I'm not basing anything on general knowledge nor opinions but the national usage of .co.cc as reported by Alexa and countries with a disproportionate amount of spam/scam/fraud/corruption. If you take personal offence to those usage statistics or are offended that Google decided to de-list *.co.cc but it's all out of my control. What was on your .co.cc site?

I never think using a third-arty service for any of my businesses. Never needed of them when I run business on my own platform and myself a web-service provider

 

I asked them to re-indexed, they did it. Then I changed it to .net domain, then they have given me PR3

You see, most are spam but not all.

Websites that aren't worth enough to the owner to fork out $20 or whatever a year to buy a proper domain probably aren't the sort of websites you want to be visiting...

 

Lately Google seems to be censoring parts of the web. Occasionally marks .cz.cc as malware, .co.cc is completely kicked out. .tk is most likely to follow, once many .co.cc and .cz.cc users move to it. Facebook (or Fakebook, like I call it sometimes) and Twitter are following. This sucks for those people who honestly have their own self-hosted website (e.g. on a VPS) that is harmless and ofen has good content, but can't pay for a TLD .

 

Yes as what many said, it is a spam issue and it did cause enough trouble for Google to ban it.
