Google Keyword with Scrapebox

    Hi

    I am launching a new online and offline sales business. The product is physical and i want to write blogs etc for my site to drive traffic and was going to use both Google keyword planner and Scrapebox (just because i have it already).

    In terms of Google, I am unsure of the right way to use it. Now I have been using the keyword planner tool. and put in my search word/s (for example peanut butter) I then look at the keyword ideas but this is where I am unsure. Do I look for high search volume and low competition?

    As for long tail keywords, would I use (again using peanut butter) phrases that I think are good maybe 'Is peanut butter good for you' or 'Peanut butter for sale in my town' and then just weave these in naturally in my blog?

    Any help will be good.
