Ok so I've been using the google keyword tool to check for keywords related to my website but a couple things have occurred to me... 1) Some keywords I've searched multiple times in Google yet teh keyword tool shows 0 searches for that term even after many weeks... How accurate is the keyword tool? 2) I continually google search industry keywords within my niche.. I assume others do the same... Would it be safe then to assume that the keyword tool is in fact wrong as the majority of clicks are people like me checking their own rank? Curious what you think...
Google keyword tool is is the best and every other keyword tool on earth fetch results from this tool.... So if you are having no result for your keyword it is possible that your keyword have no search results.... Double check this.... If you still need any help don't hesitate to PM me..... Regards!
google's keyword tool is as accurate as they come imo. make sure you have exact checked rather than broad for more precise analyses. it's possible that the traffic is people just checking what's up within their niche, but doubtful. use google's webmaster tools for further keyword analyses for your website.
hey, I use google adwords for keyword research and it has proven very useful in giving high competition keywords.
I use Google keyword tool and other keyword research software and their results are pretty much the same.
I think Google keyword tool is one of the best out there. It is true that many use it to find out details about their own niche, but I do not think that this is enough to affect the results. The keyword tool may shows 0 searches for the following reasons: 1. You made a typo. 2. You didn't choose the demographics correctly. Choose the language and the country before you start 3. Actually nobody is searching for this. If you type a very particular long tail keyword it might happened.
Hello Friend, I all the time favor in googleadwords & wordtracker for keyword research of keyword tool.
The answer is simple.... Enter multiple options in google keyword tool..... for example if I have a blog for cars what should I be searching for??? Cars Modified Cars New Cars Latest Cars Racing Cars Cars Blog Cars Magazine Racing Cars Blog Racing Cars Magazine Now when I search for these keywords I will find some keywords with high competition, some with medium and might find some with low competition.... So I will be going to choose low competition keywords and mediums too but if their number of searches per month is good lets say 80,000 and onwards..... I hope this comes clear and if not post again I will share a great video on keyword research Regards
I have noticed with the keyword tool that it is good for well searched keywords but not as good for long tail keywords and keywords with lower traffic. So I think that the best thing you can do is to add other keyword tools to your research when you have doubts. To compare two search terms and their trends I use Google Insight and in this way I get more ideas on the topic I'm researching, this will give you a lot more of options on how to make decisions.
No one is perfect, so it just a tool but compare to various other tool available on the web google keyword tool is best. You can not rely totally on any tool, it just give you idea in approximate about the keyword you are searching.
