Hey guy, I found keyword that gets 18k exact match searches per month according to Google keyword website but when I go to put the same keyword in traffic estimator it estimated only 1 click per day. What is this? How can a keyword get that many searched per month and should only receive 1 click per day?
It's keyword dependent. I checked the Google Adwords tool and used two keywords: "mushroom" - 2,740,000 global monthly searches, 194 clicks per day "gambling" - 1,000,000 global monthly searches, 380 clicks per day
Exact match word include both broad and exact matches for a primary keyword, It is shows based on keywords.
google keyword are providing data global search and local search volume with exact match, broad match, phrase match. exact match -- it showing showing exact search volume like "cold coffee " this is keyword. Broad match -- it showing Broad match keyword like "coffee" if this keyword match any where, cold also. like cold company. phrase match-- it include the phrase match like best cold coffee.
But if you select exact match it shows up as 60k for the keyword mushroom which then shows 6 clicks per day. How is this? If it is getting 60k match divided by 30 comes out to be 2000 searches per day.
There are so many factors, for example.. You can't expect too much click for a keyword students used for their assignments when it is vacation time. Or a Halloween keyword when it is New Year..
We are just getting started in the business, so I am unsure what all this means about keywords and things.
