Why is it that when i search a certain keyword on my computer it is ranked differently then someone else on a different computer? And is there a tool out there that tells you the actual ranking you have for a certain keyword on google? Please share!
The results are influenced by the actual computer's visited/searched sites. e.g. if you visited an site like several times it might be the 1st result even if it's not in the top100 @ the search results normally. For 2nd question there are some keyword searching tools for this topic like this? http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/keywords/
I think because you have already visited that sites several time .You can see that when google shows that result it will tell you how many times you have visited that pages .
You are right If we are logged in google account it will show different seach results, our sites will come first. Logout and clear the cookies and cache and check the results.
If you want to rank higher on Google, there is nothing better them THEIR own keyword tool. Remember to sign in first to you Adwords account for more accurate statistics. Wordtracker paid service works fine as well.
